Currently I'm seriously bummed out about breaking my arm as it prevents me from riding my baby - a 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster Nightster 1200! And NO, I did NOT break it on the bike...I slipped and fell on a wet floor at the Donut House in Anacortes. I think God was punishing me for eating a big ol' donut. He must have looked down and said to himself, "That girl doesn't need any more donuts on her butt, so I'm gonna smite her down so she will seriously think twice before she ever eats another one." Sigh. And the weather is just started to get nice for riding, too.

Occupationally, I'm managing the Oak Harbor branch of U.S. Bank which keeps me very busy, especially in these economic times.

Curtis and I will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary this fall. Several years back he quit the banking business to return to school to pursue his nursing degree, a move for which I applaud him heartily. I do draw the line at letting him practice clinical procedures on me, though.

One thing about living and working in the town you grew up in is that you're never quite sure who you're going to run in to and what kind of dirt they have on you. I can't name names due to customer privacy restrictions, but the other day one of my teachers was in the bank and proceeded to tell my staff some interesting stories about me from high school. I swear the dude was making them up, because I was a perfect angel and there is no way the things he was saying about me could have possibly been true. He really should think twice before messing with somebody who has access to his bank accounts...mwhahahahah...
